FLOW CHART OF DOCUMENTATION PROCES

A flow chart can be used very effectively as a work instruction. This type of a work instruction enables you to visually represent instructions and eliminate a lot of text that can be missread. You could get the same information by describing it in detail. You are able represent words that do not add to the content that can help understand the process for those employees that process visual information better.

A disadvantge of a Flow Chart is the perception of equal value of importance to all steps.

The other aspect that needs to be considered is the $ and/or time value of each step. By visually putting the steps in the boxes a process that is made up of 100 simple steps may look more complicated or important than a process that has few steps and high degree of difficulty.

In spite of all that it is a great tool to help design and simplify any process.

Here is an example of a flow chart of documentation process.
