The need for Grizmo became apparent when we first got involved in management systems. We found that during training sessions it was difficult to explain the exchangeability of product and service. Product can be a service and vice versa. Every company has both aspects and qualities. So we found the need for a neutral character that can represent anything, and anybody.
We wanted the character to have no gender. We wanted the name to be unique as well. Grizmo can be a person, an animal, a company, a purchasing department. We can refer to Grizmo Process, or Grizmo Service and Grizmo works for us.
The character does have a personality of sorts. As we got to use Grizmo we believe the Grizmo rubs off on us all. The more we work with Grizmo the more we are like Grizmo.
Grizmo represents quality products and services. Grizmo is helpful and considerate. Grizmo solves all your problems. Grizmo has sense of humor. Grizmo is innovative and loves challenge. Grizmo questions and challenges the past ways of doing things. Grizmo learns from mistakes and believes many errors are the source of innovation.
