	Procedure MSP 7-3-1 Research, Design and Development (RDD) Control defines how the outputs of RDD are provided in a form that enables verification against the RDD inputs and are approved prior to release. These outputs must: a) meet the input requirements for design and development, b) provide appropriate information for purchasing, production and for service provision, c) contain or reference product/service acceptance criteria, and d) specify the characteristics of the product/service that are essential for its safe and proper use.
